TJ sidemarkers

Awhile back i scraped the side in the front (off road) and later when i was washing it i noticed it knocked the sidemarker piece out. So anyway i ordered a new one and put it in last night, put the lightbulb back inside it etc,...then when I checked it i noticed it wont flash with the turn signal. Same thing with the other side that i havent touched.

Are they supposed to flash?

Yes, on our 04 TJ the blinker and side marker flash together. I just walked out and checked. Maybe a bad ground, since both sides are not flashing, or two bad bulbs. Use a tester and see if you have current to both. Is the blinker flashing? If not, maybe you blew a fuse.
