Love the look Idaho, clean and classy. I actually stole the pic and put a thumbnail on my desktop for inspiration, only in bright silver metallic of course

I believe the idea that was posted earlier was to use two images each for the 6 winners this year to have the full 12 months covered.

well i hate to admit that the winner is pretty much decided, unless by some grace of god this thread becomes flooded with other members votes. the winners jeep will be posted the night of the 30th.
remember everyone, August first marks the first day of the next months competition - i hope all of you are prepared to get your rigs in. remember, just because its stock or close to it doesnt mean i cant win |

This is tough. To be fair I am going to have to go wheelin in each contestant to give a more accurate vote. So if yall will just drop your jeeps off at my house I will be sure and test drive each one.

This has been fun and I admit I have watched the vote count every day. I am very impressed that so many people have voted - almost 500 which is a great turn out! I think this is more votes than any other poll like this has ever received? Well done spyder - kudos to you for getting this going.

Some one throw the caution flag!!! Idaho has everyone a lap or two down. I had never read his build thread, until this contest. The first day, right out of the gate, I checked the votes and thought, man who is this guy and what, other than a good looking jeep, is there to this. I read the build thread, HATS OFF TO YOU. Great thread, great attention to detail. You have put together a solid jeep that is very capable and can still be driven every day. There is a fine line when you build a jeep to the specs such as this. The line between what can be driven on the street, safely and legally and still handle the most challenging trails. Your rig, along with many others on here are at the top of their class. Well built with a lot of attention to the finer points, with out going to the point of trailer queen. There is nothing wrong with taking your jeep to the trails on a trailer. But if I am 100 miles away from home and the trailer blows up I like to know I can drive my jeep on home and not worry about if I will make it or not.
Congrats. |

Congrats to Idaho again, best overall rig in this poll, possibly the forum.
![]() I just want to throw something else in there though. I might not have the fastest or most capable rig, but i bet it sounds the best. I just finished installing my 2 10" MB Quart subs in the trunk last night. That brings my final audio count to: 4 Alpine S type speakers running off 4ch Orion Cobalt amp Single 8" Rockford sub in the center console in a homemade fiberglass box, hooked up to 2 ch Orion amp. And 2 10" MB Quarts in the trunk in a shallow box hooked up to a Hitron 2 ch amp. Tried it out last night and it was LOUD, but still sounds crisp, no rattling either. Dont ask me how i fit 3 amps and 3 subs in my Jeep, but i considered buying a LJ a few times just for the extra room. I will definately include some more specs in my submittal next time around. That might help my vote count a little bit ![]()
