Anybody ever take theirs off to get it repainted? If so how hard/easy was it and was was the rough repainting cost?

Thanks

Just a thought...
I sprayed mine while it was on the the Jeep a few years ago. My TJ is white and I wanted the grill black so I just masked it off, put some cardboard behind it and sprayed her down.

mines pat blue so not sure if the black would look right. i want to remove it, get it sandblasted and repainted, then prepped with the 3M auto tape that is chip resistant.

Just unbolt it and pull it off.
Nothing to it.
