I am assuming the new Currie one that everyone is referring to is the JS-9120?

I don't have a part number yet.. and no pics have been posted yet!

I did look on currie's site and found the HD track bar, tho it looks just like all the other jks bars.. I guess we'll have to call for more info..

An option I have been considering for a bit now is to chop the end off my OEM trac-bar and weld in a threaded insert and use a flex joint rod end similar to this:

Would this be possible?

I'm too lazy to read the entire thread, but I'll just throw this out there. Looks like it's already known, but my JKS bar hits the stock cover with my little BB.

the stock track bar is a solid unit.. not something yo could just weld a bung to..
and one of the strongest bars you can actually use. just a bit to short for more than 2" of lift.

Is a Rubi trac bar the same as a non-Rubi trac-bar?
If so, I may pick one up and play around with some options.

The HD Currie Bar is different from the JKS. They are just using a generic picture on their website. The bend in the new HD JS Trackbar is a little wider than the JKS. It clears the diff with room to spare. You have to drill out the frame mount to 5/8's. That was also an upgrade over the JKS 9/16 bolt with the tapered sleeve design. Sorry I can't post any pictures, as I'll be out of town for the next couple of weeks. I'm sure there are others that have upgraded to this trackbar.

same as far as I can tell, nth degree used to rebend the stock bars to accomodate 2.5" lifts.. you could do the same with a press and some time.

the leveled ome 2.5" lifts typically need about a 5/8" longer bar..

The Currie hole is larger so just re-drill it out to accommodate the larger mounting hardware.

I might have to order one just to see it. I'm sure it wouldn't sit on the shelf for long..
