TJ build - Constructive criticism welcome (lots of pics)

This is the 4th build for my jeep. I know, I know bla bla, do it right the first time... Anyway

My last trip to Hotsprings fired up the fever again thus, the TJ must change. I am taking this one slow and treating it almost like an experiment. Let me know what you think so far and feel free to say what you think I should do. I mean, I have it in my head what I'm gonna do but I am always free to suggestion, as you will see.

Backed into the cocoon that it will be in for the next few months, it was kick *** for a 4 inch.

I have collected my first pile and it is enough to get me started.

First is the SYE and CV shaft. I love the warning sticker.

here is my spider

transfer case shifter bracket goes on while everything is out of the way

rocklock goes on cuz i am sick of laying on my back.

no need for lower control arm brackets. smooth as a babies butt.

goodbye 4 inch single flex and interco SSRs. you have been good to me.

next

how do you like your Rock-Lock? ive been thinking about getting one to replace my **** stock one. I like how they've updated with with Anti-rock type arms.

subframe, skid and lower control arms.

the exhaust shop is the first place we go after i'm rolling. upper control arm bracket needs room.

what if a 6 inch bent JK long arm would work?

1/4 wall instead of 1/8 is a plus

the rear works with slight modification

the fronts had to be cut and new eyes welded on.

off to be powder coated.

new bumper is in. too bad i cant test fit it.

new shoes

There is so much more to be done.

tires are 37s. skid bolted right up without any cutting. to bad i cant say that about the tires fitting in the fender wells.

any reason why you went with red label krawlers and not blue labels?

I was looking for the softer compound because it will be 90% trail rig after it's finished. that and the price was right.

beadlocks are on the way.

Aren't the reds softer (better traction)?

Does the sub-frame just require two holes (One on each side: pass and driver) drilled all the way through both sides of the frame? And the other ends of the LA's go to the normal CA brackets on the axles?

Looks sweet.

Oh, what's the red bar laying on the towel by your LA's?
