Tj Bodylift Install Questions Please Help

Alright this weekend is it.. Im going to install the 2" Bodylift on the jeep. But after reading the instructions I have some questions.... this is going on a 97 tj auto 4L

When it tells you to modify the 4x4 shift linkage how exactly do you do that? It tells you to measure transfer case upper shift linkage and adjust the 4wd shift linkage to measurement.. how do you do this?

Also in the kit it has 8 spacers the same size, 2 really fat ones, and one smaller diameter one.. where do i put the odd size ones?

im guessing the fat ones go up front to help suppost the added weight of the motor, but thats just a educated guess..

in the directions it has everything with a specific number but the pics are blurry and it doesnt have a index of what the parts are..

anyways thanks for the help. hopefully i can get this done that way i can get a BB in the very near future..

The kit should come with a bracket for the linkage. You just bolt it on.

The 2 fat spacers go on the body mounts that are right next to your rear upper shock mounts.

I'm not sure about the smaller spacer, but I'd guess it goes up front in the center under the radiator. All the other body mounts are symetrical and are in pairs.

If all goes well, you can have it done in an hour or 2.

You must have switched the f and t in shifter. Now stop being such a potty mouth, would ya?

Your also going to need to relocate your radiator fan shroud or convert to an electric radiator fan.

It should come with a drop bracket that you can install.

Your safest bet, and best bet, is to install an Advance Adapters relocation bracket which completely relocates the linkage off the body of the Jeep. This allows the linkage to "float" off of the transmission and allow you to shift smoothly into 4hi and 4lo... and also eliminates any rattles the 2" body lift will cause your linkage.
