TJ Battery Issue....

2005 Jeep Tj here with a bit of an issue! My Battery is looking fairly rough around the terminals... The negative looks like it has some white powdery stuff covering where it connects to the battery.. I cleaned it off with baking soda but what is up with that powdery stuff?

Any ideas

It's fairly normal for corrosion to develop around the posts on a battery. Clean the post and clamp well and apply some Vaseline around the post before you put the clamp on.

The AGM batteries dont gas like the wet cells do so that corrosion is 99% eliminated with an AGM.
