If you know of anyone needing a Tcase, trans, or 4 cyl engine. Let me know. I'd love to get this stuff out of my shop. It all works perfect. If you see any other parts that are on there way out let me know as I'm trying to move some stuff. Radiator, axles, wheels and tires etc. etc.

I'm not sure if you have read this thread or not but I bought the jeep just the way it is. I didn't put the filter on there. I'm not a huge fan of Fram filters but I don't personaly know of anyone that has ever had a problem with them. Do you

I took the fuel cell out of the box today. This is what I'm going with.

Hey would you mind running a tape across the top of that fuel cell? Whats the width?

PS I like that hood but can tell in the pictures it's a body shop nightmare. it's pretty rough.

Most do fuel cells because if they stretch there jeep because the tank had got to go somewhere. They are a lot cheaper than a genright or PSC stretch tank

Also, how much fuel can that store? Any plans (if possible) to put say two of them together and double your fuel capacity?
Well put Alex71. Fuel Cells are used because when you move the rear axle back your axle would hit the stock gas tank. There are companys that make fuel tanks that can stay in the stock location but they cost a ton and they don't allow you to move your axle back as far I will be going with it.

This is a 16 gal. RCI fuel cell.

No plans for 2 of them. I have 2 children and I'm keeping my back seat. This is one of the very few models that you can keep your back seat in your rig and have a safe place to put the fuel cell.

If it is hooked up properly then no. You will not have any fuel leaks in your cab.

The draw back is that you lose the LITTLE cargo room in the back that all of us use so much. But to me. It's worth the loss to be able to stretch the rear and keep my back seat.

Good questions.

Todd

I will measure tonight when I get home. Let me start by saying this is a trail rig. BUT. The hood will not be a body shop nighmare. It's going to paint quite well. I'll post up pics when I get to that point. My armor will arrive in 2 weeks. I'll paint the new windshield frame, hood and armor all at the same time. If you look at the pic above my hood on the floor picture you will see how nice it turned out on another guys jeep.

Wow!!!!

This has nothing to do with my build but I just worked a wreck (FireFighter) and the guy lived through this. I don't norm. send out pictures of things I see or even talk about them with others but this was worth sharing. sorry for the poor quality. It was with my phone and it is pooring right now. He hydroplaned in front of a semi doing 65 and it tore the car into pieces. Only the trunk and the front clip are near perfect concidering. The drivers back seat was resting on the ground. I have no clue how he lived. Crazy stuff.

Where you see the orange coats. Those are state troopers up by the front clip. That's how far the stuff ended up spread out.

The middle pile is the rear axle
