Tires and AC

OK, I am the newbie of the moment, I had an 88 YJ lifted and all but had to part with it, well after years of working (begging) on the wife she caved. I just picked up a 99 w/ a 4" ProComp lift. Curently there are 33X12.5X15s on it, can someone tell me how silly it would look if I went to a 33X10.5? I am wondering if the 10.5's would help with Gas milage? I guess that will have to go on a 8" rim, currently the 33's are mounted on 10"ers.
Also, has anyone added AC to thier TJ? The only reason for the AC is when carting the kids around plus there is osme heavy duty traffic in the N. VA/DC metro area, I saw a kit in old faithful JC Whittney for $799.

Regardless if your tires are 10.50 or 12.50, its still a 33" tire. Thats what hurts your mileage. There may be a little difference i guess because there is a little less resistnece, but not enough to notice and justify getting new tires.
