Thanks, I think that's what I was thinking too with going forward in 2H..... Is that forward bend about at the body opening, or just a tad above?

I have a thread I posted awhile ago about my TC popping out of 4H, from what it says on Novak's site it should stop that. Has anyone had any experience with this problem and this shifter set up? Looks like its a pain to install but I would rather deal with it then deal with the popping out of 4h and grinding.

I had the same problem fitting mine in.. The shifter on mine is actually backwards from the old style that jerry has.... I forgot to take pics of it.. but if I remember tomorrow I will...

Now the Cane Bending stuff is overly painful, but I HOPE that once it's dialed in, I won't have to mess with it till I go to a STaK or Atlas dual stick setup (which is down the road a good ways, years maybe)... |

From his pic, posted above, he said the most forward position was 2H and back was 4Lo, which is the same setup as mine (and stock)...

Check this out for bend ideas - I didn't cut the shifter down at all and left everything connected as it was shipped...

couldn't it just be bent to mimic the stock shifter style handle? Can you use the stock shifter handle?

Not to jump in, but I did a little poke around and found this step by step install. Not sure if its the old or new style, but worth a look. Heres a link, in case you want to check it out.

Played with this this evening... I'm pretty sure it will get it hot enough to bend...
BUT as I was heating and trying to move a little bit with the pipe over the top, one complete side of my vice LITERALLY snapped off... So I guess I get to buy a new vice now also and try to heat up again tomorrow... Sw2 |
