Coilovers fully mounted and partially compressed...once the fuel cell and tool box are loaded the Jeep sits just about level. The slightly higher back will settle some in the future but it is within 1/2".

No that is with the coils at full drop ~48" and before they are mounted to the axle and compressed.

Look at how high the jack is mounted...when mounting coilovers on anything, you absolutly must drop the axle low enough to mount the lower tab of the fully extended shock before you compress it as you are not doing it by strength alone.

The ride height is equivalent to a 5.5" coil spring which is what I had previously.

See the next pictures for ride height.

Looks good but still a little to tall for my taste and I would rather have that tires lower because that is a lot weight pretty high in the air and messes up your COG even more. Just my $.02, though.

Are your triangulated arms going to have contact if you fully compress one side and let the other side droop? It seems like they might since you mounted the lowers on top of the axle. Did mounting them on top of the axle not mess up your antisquat numbers because that does not give them much seperation at the axle end and it looks like you don't have any up and down adjustment for your links at the frame end?

Like I said, you are doing GREAT work , I just have a couple of questions on it as I am going through a similar buildup on mine right now except I am using coils in the rear and single triangulated rear, 3 link front (all using square tubing), and 1 tons.

My one newb question- there appears to be some kind of brake mechanism on the T-case output. What's that for?

edit- another one...what kind of driveshaft is required for that setup?

that's the parking brake. A regular drive shaft can be used as long as it has the bolts to attach it. should look ssomething like this...

It's a cutting brake, it not only acts as an E-Brake but can be used to help make tight turns.
