I had a complete Clockspring failure (the entire ribbon inside the clockspring had sheered off) and it did not generate a check engine light. 1999 TJ 4.0 )

So my jeep got wet and now i am having the same problems. Just replaced the TPS but the problem persists. Horn works, havent checked if CC works but im pretty sure im in the same boat here. I thought i heard a slight whistle that wasnt normally there while driving home from work yesterday, so i will check that and hope its a vac line, but im really hoping its not the clockspring
