well guys, i have a budget boost and spidertrax wheelspacers sitting at the house and i guess im gonna go ahead and buy some BFG M/T's....

first question.......does anyone know if someone is having a sell online right now? or free shipping or anything? wallyworld priced them to me at 155 a tire for 32X11.50 15's.....best local price..

2nd question....i am going to get these tires siped very soon as i do alot of hwy driving and alot of it is in the rain...soo, i know of a few places that sipe tires locally, but all siping is, is whene you make very little horizontal cuts in the inner lugs right?
im sure this is what it is, but then what has been done to these tires: 3rd pic from top
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/370762/11

it looks as though he has small horizontal cuts in the inner lugs, but he has also had "grooves" cut at a diagnol on all the lugs....this almost makes it look like a mix between AT's and MT's....i believe this would work awsome, plus looks alot better....if you look at the 1st pic on that page and then enlarge it, it also looks like it would "flow" the water to the outside of the tire alot better also...

you could compare it to the regular BFG MT here (enlarge the pic on BFG's site and the cardomain site and compare the treads and look at the water "flow" capabilty)

what is this process called, and is thier a website that tells who does this (like that website jerry posted about the siping)......anyone have any experience on this on a jeep? do you think it would work better off road, or do you think it would make them pack with mud faster?

sorry mods for putting this in here, but the tires/suspension section hardley ever gets looked at, and i thought i would get a better response in here....

yeah i have the siping done on my tires and it helps alot on the road and for braking, especially since Jeep brakes suck. yeah the guy with the BFG's had the outter lugs grooved and the inner lugs siped. the actual cut in the tread is really thin like a razor blade was ran through it.( which is esentially what happens) but yeah it cost me about 11.50 per tire and i love it.

here is a better pic

he also has the inner lugs grooved along with the sipping...you can see the sipping (razor blade) but you can also see the grooves in the middle lugs...one per lug and going at an angle...
