? for those who have the Trail Jammer

Ive been reading up on these and have found alot of info on their effects on performance and mpg but I havent read anywhere if you need to run Premium fuel with their computer of if 87-89 octane is o.k.

87/89 octane is all I've ever ran with it.

Cool. Ive seen some of the other programmers out there require 92. Thats a deal breaker with gas prices like they are.

Overall did you feel it was worth the money?

Yep, if you have realistic expectations. From the vehicles in your sig, I'm guessing you know what you can and can't expect from a cookie cutter plug/play programmer.

I've used other programmers in the Jeep...and returned them. I'm pleased with this one.

I have an 04 LJ, stock gears, 33's and the Trail jammer kit. I bought the Trail jammer kit to help out when I tow a small T@B trailer my son and I use for camping. It has made a noticible difference (less annoying downshifts) when towing the trailer on hilly or mountain terrain. This difference is especially appreciated on the rolling hills of central Texas and in the mountains of New Mexico & AZ. However, I have noticed little, if any difference in performance or gas mileage in the city. I run 87 or 89 octane and have no issues.
