Are the 241 and 231 cases the same with different internals?

In my op I would let that go too. It doesn't work as nice as I had hoped. I have thought about it. I am defnitaly going with an Atlas. Its comming in the mail next week.

The TJ I just picked up already has the Teralow kit installed but no SYE just the stock front shaft recently rebuilt.. do i need to install a SYE before i start crawling in 4low?

Aslo, i have a 97 4cy is a rubi t-case an easy swap?

I installed teralow with 2low kit about 1 month ago

I definitively LOVE IT

Locked Front & Rear, 4.56s, 4:1 low range with 2LO.
2.5" RC Lift with 1.25" BL & MML on 33s TSL Boggers with Beadlocks.
Ironman 9500 Winch, ARB Snorkel, Warn Bumpers/rock sliders/gas tank skidplates..
Smittybilt Tube Fenders, Axle tube seals, braided brake lines etc.

To answer your ? about SYE. No you don't need the SYE to run in four low. The SYE is used to get your rear drive shaft to a more suitable angle. So your U-joints aren't wearing out and to get rid of drive line vibrations. This is all still considering you still have your 1 1/4" plus 1" BL. Actually just to state that your BL has nothing to do with your rear drive shaft angle.

cool, well hopefully i wont be posting in a few days that i have to order an new tcase :-)

Aslo, i have a 97 4cy is a rubi t-case an easy swap? (i figure if it isnt to much involved ill keep an eye out for a spare...

You have a 21 spline tranny output. You need a 23 spline for Rubi case.

How much trobule is it to swap out outputshafts?

Is it even worth it when the time comes? or should i look at a tranny/t-case swap?

Dont need to now but if i have the same luck as others are having i may need to...
