TCC Circuit Malfunction P0740 Code

Hey guys need some help. I drive a 97TJ automatic transmission with a 4.0. My check engine light came on and it read a P0740, which I understand is the TTC circuit Malfunction. Well I checked my transmission fluid and it was about a pint and a half low. I filled it and took it for a test drive. The only problem that I could feel was at about 60mph it did not want to shift when I accelerated rapidly. The RPMs were at about 3,500. Later it started shifting fine. Should I reset the code and see what happens?
