If the mods will let allow my crazy thread idea?

I put into the virtual holding tank this one TJ Speedo gear with 38 teeth. This thing is now worth about $100 I have been told, I give it up with free shipping (CONUS Only) to start things off…

I offer it free to the next person that will immediately replace it in the virtual pot with their old speedo gear – the one you will be taking out of your Jeep to put this one in it’s place.

So if you want this 38 tooth speedo gear all you need to do is:
1) post on this thread saying “I will take it”
2) PM me your snail mail address
3) WITHIN 48 hours of receiving my gear you need to take your old gear out of your TJ and put this one in.
4) Post in this thread saying “I offer this XX tooth speedo gear free to the next person

The Rules:
- You MUST put a gear up for free in order to claim a gear.
- After receiving a gear in the mail you have 48 hours to ship out your other one
- DO NOT SIDE TRACK this thread, questions and answers go elsewhere, though a bump never hurt lol.
- You can also toss in an extra gear with a “I offer this one free w/free shipping as well”
- EVERYONE pays the shipping themselves for the gear they are mailing.
- Do not request a gear, what is in play is what is in play.

But have to wait a week until I get home to my jeep before I can ship mine.

I place into the virtual pot this 28 tooth speedo gear with free shipping. Can be shipped around the 15th. (Good for running 36"s with 3.73s. Almost 5% off with 35"s and 3.73s)

OR/AND

A 34tooth gear from stock 3.73s and 30" tires. Might be able to ship next week.

Only one free shipping
If the time frame disqualifies me so be it.

You might be right... but I gave away my speedo gear already and made someone happen, so that's a good thing right there.

I read a couple threads that the dealers all just shot the price up on these, I could be wrong, I dunno since I didn't check prices.

Regardless, why not just let it play out? I made at least one person happy so far, so it seems like it was worth the pixels.

Either way, I am out of free gears, made one person happy, so I am done.

Im almost postive that i have a 40 tooth gear that came out of my stock 99 tj se. Ill have to check to make sure that i still have it when i get home tonight
