T-Case shifter bracket?

Anyone have detailed instructions with pics on installation of the transfer case bracket that comes with most body lifts?

I don't understand exactly what this bracket does... is it to better change transmission gears or only to better switch between 2 and 4hi/lo?

Will this bring back my gear shifter back to original position? (now after 1"mml it is further back, so 2/4/R are way lower back then they were before).

It helps line everything back up on the transfer case shifter.

My Suspension lift did not come with one but after installing the TC drop kit I could not get it into 4lo so I made my own and it ligned everything back up the same as stock. I would suggest installing one if you have it or not.
