Suspension drop (lots of pictures)
ok, i know the title is confuseing! im not turning my jeep into a street jeep, but I am going for this:
![]() all it is is a rubicon on a 4" lift with 35" tires on 17" wheels NOW, im not a super offroader, i plan on taking my jeep through some good stuff, but i will never be super rock crawlling, there for I DONT NEED ALOT OF FLEX. and im trying to keep the handleing characteristics of a stock jeep as close as possible, which means i dont want a high center of gravity. now so far im planning a Hanson JR61402 front bumper: ![]() a Jeeperman rear tire carrier: A Warn 9.5ti : ![]() and some 35x17x12.5 Toyo Open Country M/T's: ![]() ok, were done with the pictures now. theres alot more that i want to do that i have listed, but i will say this now I HATE STEELIES and I HATE BODY LIFTS with that being said, im keeping my 17's, and im doing suspension only work as far as lifts. now with all that, how much do you guys think my suspension will sag? should i keep my RE 3.5" idea because that tombraider jeep looks F-ing badass and i dont need alot of flex, or should i go for the RE 4.5" lift so my suspension sagging will put me around 4" again or even 4.5"? kthnxbye

Maybe an inch on both sides?
I have no idea with RE, but I can say with other manufacturers you will.

im also aware of the handleing characteristics and the offroading limits with 3.5" of lift and 35" tires, but ive seen them run, and for what i want to do, it would be fine, and since body lifts are relatively easy to install if i ever do decide i 'need' to do it, i'll just pop a 1 incher in there.
since i have the suspension figured out for now, with a RE 3.5" suspension, you guys think i should go long arm, long arm + tri-link, or short arm. this will be a Daily Driver along with a Daily Offroader :P so im trying to keep the best on-road handleing characteristics and the best off-road handleing characteristics. also, im thinking 4:88 gears? |
