wow, not only is it a rip off of the ARB/Safari (even the "super wader" logo is styled like the Safari) they are so lazy they post a pic of the safari and then say "If you need more information on the functionality of a snorkel, please google Safari snorkel"
I emailed him based off of that craigslist ad. I also found it on Ebay. I had him put up one of the wrangler ones on Ebay as well, they are cheaper if you do the buy it now than they are through the craigslist ad.
I asked him about the pics and about if it was the same set up so you still couldn't take the doors off easily. This is what he wrote in response.
"Hi. Its an almost identical set up as the safari snorkel. The snorkel is the same mold as the safari. its basically a rebranded safari. Not sure about the doors to be honest and no i dont have exact pics. ill be leaving town for 2 months this wednesday so if you want one then let me know asap. Thanks. Tim"
I told him to let me know when he got back and we could talk. I don't do the pressure thing.
::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::
Ok got my reply from a buyer here it is... i think i will look else were for a Snorkel.......
Dear vteczilla,this was my reply to the seller......It is not a complete kit when you send instructions for a different brand and all the hardware is not included. There was no plastic inserts for the upper windshield post. There was also not a decent template for the fender cutout area. The hose is/ was an inferior piece, it broke and unraveled before i even got it in the jeep. I had to buy a new hose from ARB $$$. Next time I will definitely buy the name brand part instead of the knock-off. As you can see the positive feedback was like a gift to you. I probably should have warned other buyers with a stronger feedback.
