Super Flex™ 3.5 Suspension System by Rubicon Express

i have an 03 wrangler x. i want to be able to place 33/12.50's underneath and i'll use the jeep mostly for daily driving and occasionally for trailriding. i have a limited budget and i saw a Super Flex™ 3.5 Suspension System by Rubicon Express. is this a good lift that'll do what i want it to do? i'll take any help

It's a very good lift by a very good company but if your on a limited budget and you won't be counting on this thing for heavy offroading why are you looking at RE?

will easily fit 33s, 35s with a 1" body lift. If you are on a budget, look at the 3" BDS kit. It will fit 33s. You might need a 1" body lift if you off road it.

It's a very good choice. If it's for a daily driver I'd recommend the Rubicon Express Monotube shocks the ride with those shocks is better than stock in my opinion.

Good kit! This is a great kit with adjust CAs and SYE and drive shaft.

Don't need an SYE with a 3.5 unless you plan on going higher or plan on doing some hard offroading but still a very nice kit by RE

But you may need to do a t-case drop

Another vote for the RE kit, go RE mono tubes, Bilstein, or OME for shocks. I think the OME are cheapest.

Only problem is the RE3.5 springs give you more than 4" of lift. You will most likely get vibes without skid spacers or a MML. At least the ones I have installed them on.

I dont think there is a probably about it. As you stated the 3.5 RE springs are more like 4". That is excessive without correcting driveline angles... even if its on a Rubicon. Its a certain that he will experience driveline vibes with out TC Drop, MML, and or rear upper control arms.

A skid spacer or a transfer case drop kit essentially drops your transfer case usually an inch or so down to create a better driveshaft angle. A motor mount lift does as it says, raises the motor to create a better driveline angle....

I had a T-case drop on my 3.5 SF kit and a MML.. I bought my kit from 4x4groupbuy mainly because it "came" with an SYE kit which I installed a few months later.

you will be better off getting the RE "4.5 lift with swapped in "3.5 springs. the "4.5 kit is more complete compared to the "3.5, you will be happier in the long run. plus you will have the "3.5 springs with a complete lift

x2. I wish I would have done this also, especially since I am now planning to upgrade to 35s.

However...if $ is an issue (it was for me at the time), the RE 3.5" lift is an excellent choice. I have been running mine for 5 years. It's been great on and off road

Good advice given above, and you can't go wrong with that particular lift kit. Just avoid buying it with RE's base level twin-tube shocks which are such a stiff riding shock that it'll turn what could be a good riding suspension into one that will make you feel like you're driving a buckboard wagon. Instead, go with RE's Monotube shocks, OME (Old Man Emu), or less $$$ Skyjacker Hydro (NOT Skyjacker's Nitro which is too stiff for a Wrangler).

Enjoy, it's a fine suspension that will work well for many years to come.

if you are going to do ANY hardcore wheeling, then get some currie rear upper adjustable control arms. I have heard countless amounts of issues with these rubber bushings, as I have been dealing with them as well.

other than that I love my kit!
