Super 35 Axle Kit and Gears

I am planning to eventually put in the Super 35 kit. Does anyone offer an assembled axle with gears, housing and all that I can just swap out? I don't know how to set up the gears and don't know anyone that is comfortable doing it. I want to go with taller gears. I was thinking about going to a 44 but am concerned about the cost of swapping brakes added to the cost of a 44. I don't know if the cost of an assembled rear axle would run into the same neighborhood but I figured you guys would be able to help me.

Thanks,

Do a search. You can probably find a complete S35 axle for under 1k from someone that is upgrading to something else.

here is my thinking tell me if it logical or not..

dana 35 -- 27 spline axles..

super 35 kit converts it to 30 spline!! same as a dana 44.

can do this with an arb for 1150!!!

then get a truss with 35" tires I should never have a problem and if I do It will have a 5 year warranty!!!

sure beats a swap for a dana 44!!!

Yep but it's the axle that breaks between the case and hub, not the c-clip. The Super35 actually has an excellent reputation. Superior Axle said that as of last year when I read this, they had only had one report and return of a broken S35 axle, and that happened during a rock crawling competition. I chose not to go with a S35 but I still think it's a good solid upgrade for 99.9% of us offroaders.

Call randy's ring and pinion. I got my axle, detroit locker, front carrier, both ring and pinions, and both complete install kits for $1200.

Actually a bit stronger than a factory d44 due to the heavy duty axle shafts included in the kit Has anyone heard anything good or bad about Yukon's ultimate 35 kit? I'm in the market for 1 or the other and the ultimate 35 is usually about $100 cheaper than the S35 on most websites. Thanks.

A super35 is the only way to go. 10x better than ANY other option.

I was gonna do an 8.8 swap and I even bought an 8.8, this was before i was convinced the super35 was the only way to fly when coming to axle upgrades.

BTW, I have the 8.8 for sale if anyone want to buy it, its has everything cut off of it (ready for the new perches to be welded on) and also has disc brakes.

If interested in the 8.8, PM me......ill probably get a PM over this post anyways.
