And what is up with those wheels? Ive never seen a set of wheels looke like that. Looks like they didnt exactly do a detail job on the Jeep, so I wonder if some of it can be cleaned off or if its scratches and rub marks.

If that's the brand you want, sure. Too bad I left mine in the back of my Suzuki when I sold it or I'd send 'em to ya. I have since switched to a Currie Antirock.

Is the Currie worth it compared to the disconnects? Does it allow for as much flex as disconnecting? Do you just leave it set on the loosest setting or do you adjust it differently for the trail and differently for the street? Does it take long to make the adjustments?

Thats what the lady told me. It was at a Chevy dealership. She didnt know a lot about the Jeep, but it was one of the mechanic's personal vehicle and I was asking her questions and she would pass them along to him and get back to me. I never specifically asked her to confirm if it was a 1 inch BL or not. Might be a 2 inch because it does look like there is a bigger gap between the bumper and the body than my last Jeep.
Will I have any problems if the Jeep is on a 2 inch or 3 inch BL? I know that it is weaker if you get in a car accident, but what about the angle of the drive shafts, etc?

There is not problem with a bigger body lift other than the look. And it has no effect on the drive shaft, so no worries.
I'm jealous.

I like it. It has a bit more body roll than the stock swaybar, but you get used to it. As far as flex goes, no, it doesn't allow for as much flex as disconnecting. I think there is a sticky about the antirock. It will give you all the information you need to know about max flex vs. useful flex. For the adjustments, it's a set it/forget it, one time adjustment for me. I have mine set at position 3 (I think) of 5. Five being the most flex.
Edit: Here's one of the links. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f27/max-flex-vs-useful-flex-anti-rock-132003/

Just currious, why did you get rid of your old jeep? I think it looked better (if that's it in your gallery pic). This Ruby looks like it's been beat pretty good and is going to take quite a few bucks right off the bat. Tires, fenders...at least one KC.
Do you know how he did the front end damage? I'm currious as to whether the impact was hard enough to transfer into another part of the jeep, and not be as noticiable, but just as important.

Looks like it needs a set of tires very soon (as in now).

Throw in that the Rubi's have 4.10 gearing too. That 241 x-fer case is 4:1, the 231's are 2.72. As to the front D44, it will allow 5.13 gears, the D30 will not.
On this Jeep, based on the pictures, I'd take a real good look at the underside and look for damage and try to determine how hard this rig was used. Make sure it wasn't "run hard and put away wet". A Rubicon is an excellent foundation but you want to be sure you know what you're in for.

I'd be interested in buying your old steel rims if you decide to get new ones. Just let me know
P.S. I love the color!

LOOK AT THE AXLES!!! Make sure it still has the 44's and lockers. I have seen too many cases of rubi's gettin traded in and the next buyer doesnt get a rubicon.
I would also take it to a independent shop and have them look over the damage to see if anything besides the fenders are crunched/bent/not straight.

How on earth did BOTH fenders get wrinkled like that? I hope it happened before the winch/bar up front!

Yeah, it looked WAY better. I already miss it. But it wasnt very functional and I wasnt going to spend the money to swap out the rear end, upgrade the front axles & lock it, and go to lower gears in each pumpkin. I would have had $3,000-4,000 wrapped up in it. Just wasnt worth it and I wouldnt get any return from that money. Not that the Jeep is an investment....haha.
After selling my Jeep, buying the Rubicon, and fixing the fenders, I will pay $1,000 more. I should have jeep that is worth more and it will cost me almost nothing to have it trail ready & street worthy.

The guy said that it was 2 separate occasions. Each one was a tree. The guy that owned it was a mechanic at the Chevy dealership and he offroaded it (obviously) and it was his daily driver.
I was asking these questions to the sales person and if she didnt know, she would just call the previous owner and then email me the info.
It has had one owner and no carfax alerts. So I am still pretty confident.
