I was very lucky I was crawling in slowly to begin with, the dropoff isn't pregressive, it's a 90 degree drop. Once in I only had about 5 seconds before it stalled. If I was on the throttle I would of definitly had internal damage. __________________ '04 Rube JEEPS ARE NOT CARS, STOP CALLING YOUR JEEP A CAR!!!!!!!! |

All electronics seem to be fine, knock on wood. __________________ '04 Rube JEEPS ARE NOT CARS, STOP CALLING YOUR JEEP A CAR!!!!!!!! |

Forded the creek in the same place as always, except someone had decided we shoudn't and had dug it all out. Should have only been hub deep so I was going 8-10 mph when the nose dropped. It was so unexpected that my feet came off the floor and one of knees hit the kill switch on the dash. Good thing too, cause you know as soon as I got my feet back on the floor I would have punched it and pretzeld the insides of thAT cj'S 327. water right up to my belly button. glad it workrd out OK for you. You probaly wanted to change those fluids anyway. __________________ 02 Sport walnut shift knob, H2 reco sticker, rubber floor mats. |

Registered User | I like the name of your U-boat. Glad to see a sense of humor and humility. We ALL make mistakes. My latest was a similar situation, familiar trail that we have run numerous times but with rain/snow the mud was nearly up to the top of my fenders on the TJ. Had doors on and couldn't open them. Tried to climb out the top onto the hood as the top was off and slipped then fell in the goo. My family and friends were laughing so hard that we couldn't carry on a conversation for minutes. It took all the power of my Warn and a snatch block to get us out. Needless to say, the rest of the Jeeps went around. BTW you might want to put the old airbox back on. ![]() __________________ 99 Sahara D30/44 w ARB's and 4.10's, Warn 9.5TI,AA SYE & Wood's shaft,Raingler nets,Jeeperman trail skids,Warn gas tank and steering box skid's, BDS 2" springs, Currie control arms,32" MTR's,AEV Bridger wheels, custom made tire carrier bumper,Dynomax cat back JKS quicker disco's.PSC Trail Cage,Banks header,LiteDots 92 YJ 4.0L,auto, rust, bondo, dents, scratches, mud everywhere, CD player, square headlights, big tires, big axles, small budget. 92 CDN M101 trailer, 33" TSL Swampers, camo paint. |

Good work keeping the sense of humor, thats whats saved me from my mistakes and vandalisms. __________________ "when in doubt, drive over it" Under 21 Club #1 |
