Stuck bolt help, in the middle of putting on BB coil spacers.
I am in the process of putting a BB on my 97 TJ, and on the rear side I have one Shock bolt and one sway bar bolt that will not budge. They are rusty, and I sprayed them heavily (all of the bolts need to be removed were sprayed) with PB Blaster this am. I really do not want to put everything back on without finishing and have to take it to a shop to get it done, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Should I just keep spraying PB and wait longer? Maybe try again tomorrow am? And if I do leave it over night is it ok to leave it up on jack stands?
I wish I had a torch and could heat them up, should I buy one? Will it be worth it?
Thanks for the help

I had a BB on my heep, and recently sold it to a friend and put it on for him, and never had to unbolt the swaybars.
I take it the shock bolt is a rear upper? If so, good luck. I broke off 3 of the four the first time I changed shocks. I don't think I sprayed them beforehand, though. Ended up using a small cutoff wheel and a chisel to remove the "nuts" from the crossmember, and just used bolts, washers, and nuts.

Its the lower bolt, will not budge. You get enough droop with the sway bar still attached? Kinda new to this so any help will be much appreciated. What do I need to take off? Just the shocks? ...and then jack up one wheel so the other side drops?
Thanks

Do you have a breaker bar or cheater pipe for your ratchet?
Yes, the rear will droop enough with the frame on jackstands, tires off, shocks unbolted/off, and a jack under the other side. (Now that I think about it, I did unbolt one side of the front swaybar.) For the rear, I just had my buddy stand on the drum of the side I was installing the spring in, it popped right in.
Do you have bumpstop extentions?

Yea heat might help, also takes time for penetrating oil to do it’s job, might have to wait until tomorrow or the next day, or a week, lol. You can buy a fairly inexpensive propane torch at the hardware store and a bottle of propane and that should be enough heat for this job. Heat, penetrating oil, heat, penetrating oil, keep trying.

no breaker bar or cheater pipe, may have my room mate take me to home depot in the am when he gets home from work for a breaker bar and torch and try to remove the bolts then. The side I have the shock off I can drop it with a jack on the other side enough to do the work, but cant get the shock off the other side. I do have bump stop extensions as well for the rear, not sure how to get the old bump stops off though, figured there would be a bolt through the middle of it but it appears to have some kind of plastic cap over it, guess i can just pop that off.
thanks for your help

The bumpstop cups have a bolt through them. If you have the blocks and longer bolts, you have to remove the bumpstop, then use a 15mm socket and short extention to remove the bolt from the cup. If it is just a longer poly bump, remove old bumpstop, lube end of poly one, and pop it into place.

there is a bolt in the middle of the bump stop cup, spray that while your at it. The heat will do wonders to loosen the bolts, heat to nice glow, pound on it a little, heat up again. I did that to all my body mounts, worked wonders and didn't break one. just make sure whatever your heating, if its got a bushing in it, you might ruin it.
