Straps on Soft Top Hardware

I bought a Mopar soft top hardware set from an individual and he didn't include the instructions. I pretty much have the hardware set up and ready for the top. However, I'm not sure what the straps on the front portion of the hardware is for? They are about 2" wide and have an angle cut on the free end. The free end also has 3 holes punched in it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You.

I believe they attach to the spreader bar (second bar from the front, upside down shallow "U" shaped bar). There are three holes so you can adjust it if you have too much or too little slack in your top.

Could they be the straps that connect to the rear bar?

where did you get the soft top hardware kit from? The straps on mine are broken as well and the top is now some what loose and saggy.
