They foul up your plugs pretty fast

Just a traveling cat in a tall black hat riding a goat. Nothing to see here.

The only fuel additive that I believe is worth while are products like Heet that keep with water in the fuel from condensation during extreme cold weather. The only thing the rest of them to is reduce your fuel consumption by removing weight from you wallet.

Keep in mind that free advice can frequently be worth less than you pay for it.

For kicks, I use the injector cleaner once or twice a year. I have recently begun monitoring my mpg's at every fill-up, and I can tell you that I did not see any real benefit in mileage after using the injector cleaner last time.

I did the 2 part fuel injection system cleaner for 20.00 at wally world. I noticed a difference in acceleration after running through the fuel additive. 1st part is a liquid that is put through a vacuum source the second part fuel additive. It is a gumout system. Mine is a 2006 4.0 and had 56k when I did it. Really worth the 20.00 imo.
