Stock Wheel Size?

I know this is kinda of a green question, but what size are the factory wheels on a '01 with the 30" Tire and Wheel Package? I've heard some conflicting information, (15x7"-15x8"), and I like to clear it up once and for all. Any help would be appreciated.

15x8 on TJ's. There was a similar wheel available for older Grand Cherokee's that were 15x7, so I guess both reports are right, kinda, sorta <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> . But you do have the 8" wheels.

Actually, the '01 TJ's were available with both 15x7's and 15x8's. The Sahara comes standard with 15x8's (called the "Canyon"; alloy 5-spoke wheel), and the Sport was available with either the "Ecco" wheel (15x7) or standard steels also in 15x7's. I think the "Canyon" was available as an upgrade. The "Gambler" (looks vaguely like a Rock Crusher style with a series of holes punched through) have also been available at extra cost for years and come 15x8.

Yes, the 15x8's are 5.5" backspaced, they are a 5x4.5 bolt pattern, and they're polished alloys. You can fit 31's on a stock TJ with these rims . Tommorrow's lesson will be on trackbars. Do I really need 'em?
