steering wheel that knocks
Ive been noticing this bumping sound sometimes when i drive my car. when turning the wheel to me, it feels like somthings poping. best described as a joint in your elbow poping when reaching. its a 'knock' sound. At first I thought Bump steering. I described this to the moderator and he told me it sounded more like steer adjust, which is when the backspacing rubs the inside of the brake system.
Any ideas? im planning of getting a steering stabilzer, im gonna ask my parents to get it for my birthday in May. Hoping this helps with the problem. Anybody experince this kind of thing before?

sounds like you may have a loose track bar bolt...mine pops through the steering wheel and is audible when it gets a little loose.....

Venomous voice, tempts me, drains me, bleeds me, leaves me cracked and empty. Drags me down like some sweet gravity. |
