Steering upgrade... crossover?

I've been looking at steering upgrades for a while now. My tie rod driver's end is loose and the joint where the tie rod and drag link meet is rubbing against the sway bar axle link. I was thinking of maybe going with crossover steering, but the ORO U-Turn is a bit too pricey for me, and the RK uses heim joints which I'm not too fond of due to bad opinions. The JCR looks attractive as well, but I don't like the thought of taking it somewhere to ream out my pitman arm and steering knuckle. I hear lots of good things about the Currie kit, but it's not crossover steering.

In the end I suppose I'm asking Crossover vs Currie HD

Though my 4 year old Currie steering kit doesn't rub, Currie has been shipping a newer version for some time now that has a more pronounced bend to reduce, if not totally prevent possible rubbing. It's real hard to beat Currie's kit but then I know nothing about current cross-over kits.

My Currie kit rubbed a bit, and I clearanced the bracketry on my LP30 where it rubbed with a grinder. On my HP30 it was a combination of control arm length (to move the axle front/back while setting caster) and some minor grinding also. Or if you have access to a big press, you can bend the drag link a bit more. Even with the tweaking, it's a mod I'll never regret.

TBT also makes a cross over steering system, more expensive but with all the bent tie rods out there the Alumi-Flex would be worth it.
