My 02 TJ has 44,000 miles on it so its not too old and has been taken care of all its life. I jumped in it to head to work the other day and as i backed out of my garage I felt the steering wheel shudder as i turned it. It only occures @ slow/crawling speeds but the problem may be there at high speeds too, just not as noticable with smaller movements. Any idea what could have loosened up under there or failed? I know the power steering pump hasn't failed but could it still cause a shudder like this? Any input would be great...
