They're all pretty much the same 50:50 valved hydraulic shock. You can get a Rancho, Skyjacker, etc. for less than $60. Make sure it's specifically for a TJ as some kits are generic enough that they don't include the correcte tapered bolt for the driver's side end of the stabilizer.

I'll be getting the OME steering stabilizer soon as I've only heard and read good things about it. The only "negative" I've seen is the price. You can check out a couple others in the review section of the forum:

Quadratrac is the most expensive source of Jeep parts around and they don't even support Jeep Forum like our vendors do. I wouldn't pay more for an OME stabilizer, they're no better than the others mentioned. OME's stabilizer is a 50:50 valved hydraulic shock just like the rest of them are, not gas charged like their shocks are.

Rancho and Skyjacker are both good and easy to find. Rubicon Express is fine too, they're likely made by the same company which is probably Monroe. These are all pretty much the same, even ProComp's are the same shock internally but they apparently don't last quite as long as the others due to their lower quality chrome on the strut and paint on the shock body.

Looking back I bought mine for the name and color and that is it. There was no need for it over the cheaper ones.

My ProComp is already rusting and it got put on in LATE NOVEMBER....I will be replacing it soon with a RE or Rancho. I got it for free so I am not complaining. All the other ProComp stuff I have is holding up to the salty roads perfectly.
