Steering Knuckle

Will the passenger side steering knuckle from an 06' work on a 04 axle, Dana 30 of course?

The steering knuckles all the way back to mid run on the YJ's, XJ's, ZJ's, MJ's, and all TJ's including the Rubi's and Unlimiteds all share the same knuckle provided it's the one piece style like the TJ uses.

Earlier knuckles had a separate caliper mount that bolted to the knuckle.

If you need more input, then it's very clear you don't trust me. I doubt you'll find a single individual on Jeep Forum or any other TJ board that has cut up, modified, handled or knows more about the TJ knuckle and what it will and won't fit than I do.

I've literally been in charge of selecting over a thousand of them for Van's brake kits and the repairs I do at home.

Take it as you will, I am 100 percent correct without even a remote possibility for rebuttal.

In fact, you can go to your local parts store and look up the brake caliper for the TJ, then start crossing the caliper # over to various years and models in the Jeep line to verify that I am indeed correct.

You will find no one better qualified to answer your question than mrblaine... to say the least. Blaine designed a stronger replacement version of that knuckle for a better brake system he also designed (or at least co-designed) being sold commercially.
