Steering issues

OK real quick like I noticed my wheel getting real sloppy with a fairly large dead spot on left hand bends. So I snagged up some new TREs and put them on when I went to install them I noticed the ends on the drag link are pretty well whooped as well. With the cost of a drag link from the parts store I'm just ordering Curries because the cost difference is absurd(the OE is more).

Now I had to drive to work today and it seems that the dead spot has gotten worse any advice to try and improve this while I wait for the currie link to get here?

Also could the good TREs with the bad drag link be why its worse or did I manage to do something stupid and not realize it?

it could be a bad steering box, but i dont think it is. have someone jerk the steering wheel back and forth with your Jeep off and key in the on position. get underneath and watch your TREs, ball joints, track bar, pitman arm... everything. you will find the weak link.

because you replaced the TREs and not the drag link, this should have fixed most of your dead spot. unless you didnt get the length right.
