Have any hardware store cut it for you... $2. 3. Program it yourself via a method that should be described in the owners manual if I am not mistaken. Basically you are inserting and taking keys out over and over. You need 2 Sentry keys that work to do this, which is what you have. __________________ 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport - 5 speed Silver Metallic finish with black dual tops - Dana 44 Rear 2.25" Suspension Lift with Old Man Emu Shocks Performance Accessories 1" Body Lift Daystar 1" Motor Mount Lift Spidertrax 1.25" Wheel Spacers - 32"x11.5" MT/R Tires |

Some of them may look at you like you're stupid, but take the looks and save a few bucks... At least that's how we used to make money...lol __________________ 2004 TJ 1978 CJ5 |

A friend paid the money only to find out he did not actually have the system in his Jeep. If your keys have the gray plastic fob on the end you have the Sentry system. If your keys have a black plastic fob you don't have the Sentry system and can get an ordinary key cut anywhere. |

They shipped the keys to my home with a locksmith contact in my area that has the scanner to activate the key. You can choose to have the locksmith come to you, for an additional charge. The whole thing was painless, and I now have two additional working keys. |

You let other people drive your TJ? My wife (then girlfriend) wanted to learn how to drive a stick on mine. It was my old 98' TJ w/ a 4" lift and 33's, not a good vehicle to start learning a stick. It was a nightmare, I still wake up at night w/ cold sweats thinking about it. Can't believe I married her after that. She was so tired of me yelling at her that she stopped the Jeep where she killed it (the middle of a busy intersection). That was the last time she wanted to drive my rig. I may be a "little" too attached to my Jeep. Sorry for off topic rant. | |
