For a couple of years, I've been removing and storing my doors and windows in the summer, running the canopy alone for shade and rain protection. I am buying a new top today, and I'm agonizing over whether to get a safari bikini and removing the top completely in the summer. Performance wise, I'm very happy with running the canopy alone, but concerned about decreasing the life of the top. Do you think the top will last longer if it's replaced by a bikini during the warmer half of the year?

I run my top canopy all summer. I don't know if it'd help using a bikini, but my canopy is getting a little crispy around the door surrounds.
