i use plastic/vinyl boat window polish for the windows and mild detergent and boat top protectant. i find its a little less expensive and comes in bigger bottles than some of those jeep specific top care kits.

Also be very careful what you choose to wipe them with. Paper towels, for example, can scratch them pretty badly. I bought one of those Zorbee type cloths, but a soft rag will work also. Another thing is don't wipe them dry whatever you do.
I put a new top on a month or two ago and bought 303 protectant from suggestions on here. It works great for the fabric, mud and dirt washes off much easier. I used it on the windows, but it's similar to armor-all and makes the windows greasy for a while. It did make them shiny, but then when you remove them you get slimy. I've been using plain water recently. If you clean them often, you usually don't need soap. I also have novus that I bought because my old windows were scratched, but I haven't used it on the new ones yet. |

303 Aerospace Protectant™
This stuff is simply amazing. It brought back the life to my soft top, and lasts way longer than anything else... I bought it at a local boating supply.

Lysol to clean with a dusting rag. Keep both in my doors and just wipe em down during a gas fillup.

I use what the pros use to clean soft top windows: cloth diapers and warm water. My son worked as an auto body detail man while in high school and I learned it from him. Works great, no scratchs on the windows.

My tinted windows are scratched all to hell from tree branches rubbing them. I found this black magic stuff at the auto parts store that's supposed to work on boats, convertible top windows, and it says it even fixes scratched CDs.
It actually made my windows look pretty freakin good.

I just cleaned my top yesterday. The windows were hazy-not scratched.I figured that I had nothing to loose so I just used Turtle Wax(safe for clear coat)paste wax on the windows.Came out great.
HINT: I did not let the wax dry on the plastic Vince

plexus for cleaning...the novus 3 step system will take out some of the scratches, I've recently become a big fan of novus after a lot of doubt.
