Might be in the design; I've hit my Under Armor very hard and I've yet to bend it, but there are plenty of gouges. The UA is braced very well though. Even still, when or if I build a custom plate I think I might spring for 7075 instead for the peace of mind.

I'll get some when I get home tonight, it was late yesterday when I was unloading the trailer so I didn't bother.
I'm guessing it happened somewhere near rock creek at Rausch, but I won't comment on design/quality until I discuss warranty with UCF, and what they deem "abuse" to be.
3/8" was not available 8 months ago when I ordered it though.

Rock Creek? If so, one of my favorites.

Yep, definitely looks more like the rock garden on 18 right after pizza rock; looks like the overlook in the background and the rocks don't seem nearly as big.

Another nice spot though.

Thanks for the hint, there's one somewhat near me. I didnt realize how spendy it would be... for enough 1/4" 6061 it'll be in the $2-250 range. I might just use the metal plate I have laying around and get alu later.

Nailed it.
This is the creek though:

So... understandably, a discussion on the interpretation of "abuse" is in order before I make any negative comments about UCFs product.

thats not good any dents will throw the drivetrain alignment off right? or even raise it up if its bad enough. would the oblong holes in the ucf skids not center it perfect like the factory skid?

Yeah. Huh. Is yours the 1/4" AL ultra high one?
Mine's had some racing stripes from other trips, but not like this.
Kinda wish I got steel so I could bang it out and re-inforce it, or something.

the holes have adjustment front to back, not side to side.
