Man, UCF is quickly becoming THE stop for skid plates. UCF, if you have been keeping your eyes on this thread, I think you would sell A LOT of flat skids (perhaps 1" from frame rail or less) combined with a low profile transmission mount.

You're absolutely right Imped. I posted a link over at Rubicon Owners Forum and now they're starting to get very interested. Told them about this thread but their software doesn't allow me to link directly to this thread, so they will have to "look" for it.
Maybe UCF has a "customer loyalty" program?

lol, the first bl I saw, I asked the guy if it was a 3", and he politely told me it was only 1". I have now become accustomed to it, and it isn't so bad. The first real 3"BL made me want to puke. You could see the gas tank, ABOVE the bumper uke:

Oh, I don't know about all that. Instead of across an intersection, how about from 10' away?
How much body lift do I have in this pic?

Is it still a body lift if you cant take out spacers? Blaine, it looks like you back halved the jeep, if you cant lower the body, it isnt a BL. More pics would prove me wrong

No back half. But, I think your entirely wrong. A body lift has nothing to do with the parts that make or don't make it happen. A body lift is just that, the body is lifted from it's OEM position relative to the frame, no?

His bumper is probably raised to hide the gap.

It's a Currie bumper that is bolted to the rear crossmember exactly like every other bumper that uses those mounting holes at the ends outside the frame.
The mount holes in the frame and the bumper are as they came from factory and Currie respectively and were not altered in any way.

Interesting. Maybe my brain isn't working, but I can't think of any way you could have a body lift while leaving the rear of the body no higher than the factory crossmember. So, maybe you don't have a body lift or only have 1/4" or so? I don't know.

OK. Can you say how you did it? I know you moved the mounts up instead of using spacers (the COOL way to do it) but that shouldn't have an effect on the gap in the rear.....
