All you gotta do is cut a 3" or whatever size hole the snorkel requires in the panel on the tube fender. Process is the same as drilling the hole for the stock fender. Seen one TJ that had PSC tube fenders and the ARB snorkel. Very clean look if you ask me. The ARB snorkel just makes it harder to take the doors on and off and harder to get mirror movers to work or most roof racks. IMO, the best snorkel to go with would be a hummer style intake that sits on top of the cowl panel. HTH

I have seen several rigs with the TnT tube fenders and a few with the phantom fenders. If your state doesnt have fender laws, go with the phantom's IMO. They are nice and offer tons of clearance. Personally I am going to go with Rokmen's high clearance tube fenders and cut my hood accordingly. This will allow me to either up my tire and or downsize my 4.5" lift to delay the longarms and stretch a little longer.

i have the tnt ones, they are really great things. they take a few other things to finish the job, but the put come is great. no reason why you could not to a snorkel as well.

here is a thread
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/tnt-tube-fenders-after-market-needs-air-filter-wiper-fluid-dual-batteries-420322/
where we talked about install process and has some nice pictures of both the phantom and normal. i personally have the ones with a 4.5 flare to keep me mostly legal. they offer phantoms, no flare 3, 4.5 and 6" flares, nice to be able to get what ever you need. I also have the rears with matching 4.5 flairs

TnT fenders do not let you use your stock air box, and I believe the arb snorkle connects to the stock air box but I could be wrong on the snorkle part.

i ordered the tnt's and they should be getting here in about a week, I called tnt before and asked if the arb snorkle w/ the stock airbox would work and they said it would with a little modification.
if he can wait a week or so, ill let you all know how easy it is to use the snorkel with the fenders

it would depend on how the arb connects to the airbox and wether it can connect to another tone in a new location. I have a buick air box on mine now because of the tnt fenders and am now looking at doing a hummer snorkel type set up for cold clean air. if the arb or any set up starts with a flexible hose that could be adapted just fine, otherwise that is what you would have to put in the system. to simply reach to where ever your new intake happens to be. mine is now facing the firewall up high just inside of the battery area there is room for more plumbing there currently.

Snorkels don't last long on the trails in our neck of the woods. Here is a friend of mine showing the proper way to remove one.

it turned out that they lied
i didnt see anyway possible to reuse the stock airbox.

this is what I did for a temporary solution

ive seen a bunch of locals run snorkels like that with no problems and I had the filter in the backyard.
i plan to go to a junkyard to see if I can find a other cars intake box that will fit so I could just route the snorkel up to it like its supposed to be.

yep, its just a flexible hose from the arb to the intake

what year and model buick is your intake box out of? got any pictures?

Thanks

here is a great write up that i used as a rough guide.

http://www.jeepfreedom.com/html/airbox_replacement.html

as for what year to pull from, you will find if you talk to a decent pick and pull, that many GMC models used that air-box pretty sure what you are looking for is just a 1989-92 GM 3.3l V6 and remember that it is dependent on engine size to get the right one. i brought in the model listed in the write up and they matched it with 4 or 5 different cars they had in, i picked the newest one and went for it.
My install differed in a few small ways, nothing that really mattered.
-my return pressure tube (the small tube comming off the top of hte engine and back into the air intake hose) was routed to the airbox on my year rather than the tube, so i just twisted and trimmed it so that it could be put in a similar spot on the new box. I cut the spot male conection spot out of the old box and glued it into the new buick one, looks very good, noproblems at all.
- I did not end up using a reducer, being the jimmy rigger that i am i discovered that part of the accordion section, i think off the old box, could be cut in such a way (cut right where the hose got its biggest) that when then glued on to the larger opening of the new box, it fit perfectly. since it came off the original set up it of course fit back on the old tube perfectly again. it really looks like it was stock now and I have to say i was pretty proud of the mod. Its pissing down rain right now, I'll see if i can pull the jeep into the garage to take a few pictures later today.

one note, make sure you make the support bracket right from the start, i put it off and twice vibrated the box off the intake tube because i was lazy and zip tied it to that thin bar that spans above the engine bay, it of course does not move with the engine so is not a good thing to secure to, i was better off leaving to tied to nothing until i made the bracket. but since this guy spells it out so well for us, we have no excuse to be lazy and not follow along
