Smittybilt (SRC) Tube Fenders...$200!!

who opted to get these? any fitment or otherwise problems?
does all the crap mounted on the fenders under the hood bolt
on fine, drilling required?

i ask because i planned on getting some tube fenders some
day, but right now they are at 4WD.com for $200 ($199.99)
http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.as...nder&pid=76835
if they are good to go i will just buy a set now and worry about
geting everything else when i get around to it.

i dont really need opinions on PSC, Metal Fusion, etc as i have
done plenty of research and was already set on a set of Metal
Fusion but this price is nearly unbelievable and one i dont want
to miss out on unless there is enough negative feedback on them
to steer me otherwise.

thanks guys

I've HEARD they're not as good as some others but shoot, for that nearly outrageously low $200 I'm gonna consider them now myself! Yep, I'm looking for some first-hand comments on these too.

i haven't heard much opinions on them but i especially like this:

it will take many negatives to otherwise reconsider IMO for anyone
wanting to put on tube/flat fenders.

*EDIT* already a thread on it at JU

Hey let's keep that $200 deal to ourselves, we don't want them selling out to those JU'rs.

The nice thing about those fenders is that they are a complete bolt-on replacement.

At that price, you could easily make money buying these and selling your old stock fenders.

The only downside I see is that they don't have a flare, but that could easily be fixed with a tube bender and some metal work.

Strength-wise they are comparable to any other tube fender out there.

Thanks for the link! I have a phone call to make.

Edit: Just ordered a set. That price is for a pair and its legit. Thanks again for the link!

Yea, I guess that's true.

But I feel more comfortable fabbing up a flare rather than a whole fender. At least then I can just mimic their lines.

We'll see how it goes. I have another winter project to add to the list now.

I was thinking along the lines of the Poison Spyder ones, but for $225 shipped, I think I might just bite the bullet now!! I love the fact that you dont have to hack up the original fenders. Haha, I guess I'll add another winter project to the list

Can the PA cops write you up a ticket if your from NY?

NY doesnt care.
PA requires flares to cover the tire and I mainly wheel in PA.

Ordered a pair neways. Cant pass up that deal.
