x2 I won't even consider using their bumpers on my Jeep let alone their cage. But in all honesty since they mostly rip the designs from other companies their cage might not be all too bad..depends on the company they chose that day...

Looks like a copy of the Hardrock bolt in cage.
FWIW when I was researching cages I checked with my local builder. He can and does build every type of cage imaginable and can and does build ground up vehicles. He had several customers in the process of getting full custom weld in cages. As I checked out the parking lot EVERY employee had the Hardrock bolt in cage and EVERY rig was built.

Yea it serious looks like they just stole it from Hardrock 4x4.
Here is a link I found not the greatest, but you can see it for the most part.
Smittybilt SRC Cages. Lowest Priceson Smittybilt SRC Cages.

For real, I think that everything that Smittybuilt makes is a copy of others designs. I just bought deflaters that are identical to Stauns' but half the price. But then again I am not going to get killed relying on them either.

I think it looks like a solid kit. I have heard nothing but good reviews from people that actually use smittybilt products (aside from the powder coating). The only bad things i hear about them is when people who dont use their products bash them for being a foreign based company.
I'd get the cage once I hear a review about it from somebody who actually has it.

My favorite part of that link was there was no price or anyway to buy the cage. How much is it? Compared to Hardrock, I would go with Hardrock, not gonna cheap out on something that would save my life in a roll. I don't mind Smittybuilt though just wondering if I should trust the cage...
Look at sig

That's because most of them aren't actually using Smittybilt's products but rather the company Smittybilt decided to copy. Take a look at their products and it becomes pretty apparent that they take their designs, it's a lot easier to sell a product much cheaper when you don't have to take time creating and designing and if you are making them overseas.

Smittybilt is not the same company they used to be! I heard good things about them, and even thought the quality of what I saw was good. That was before they went overseas. I made my error when I bought a rear bumper/ tire carrier from them. I have had to weld it back together in several spots. Right now it is still rusting from the inside out on the back of my jeep simply because I want to get as much of my wasted money out of it as I can. Now most people that buy from them don't make that mistake again.
