Smell still coming from vents

I finally took off the cover to the air intake. There is nothing in there. It's clean in there. I can see the blower motor with a mirror and everything is totally clean in there. No leaves or dead mice.

There is still some kind of smell coming from the hvac system. It is not a chemical smell. It's just a smell. I can't run the system because it smells bad.

What else can I check?

Spray a disinfectant in your freshair intake while runing your fan at full speed. Cycle through the positions until you have a nice fresh smell! I used Lysol and killed the musty smell.
