Small cosmetic repair/coverup

Had a little dent under the passenger door and it bothered me enough to not want to see it anymore.
Tapped it out with a small rubber hammer and then covered it with 3/16" textured styrene. I like the way some of the different types of trail armor look so I used them for a model.
Did the same on both sides, what do you think??

You should have run it all the way down IMO. My Tough Stuff covered bad dents and scratches.I use it under my rocker guards too.

Thanks, I didn't think about going over the top like that. I might have to make new ones now, I like the way it looks all the way across..

Same here, thou I was fortunate that my wife works for a company that has their own fab shop.. they gathered up (2) ⅜ inch think aluminum diamond plates and water jet them to fit the sides of the 99.. Thou that jeep is long gone.. I wish they would redo another set but in black for the current 08.

Looks good. But how will anyone know you have an Unlimited now?

I hope the second part will be received as a joke!

Now you need to restore the fender luster.

Thanks fellas. I'm not sure if I want new flares, maybe pocket style, or change the color and paint them black..
I guess tire size will help decide if I change them of not. Either way I'll probably paint them anyway.

Round 3..I liked the look on my second attempt, but after having a problem with some of the 2 sided tape, it instantly became time for a redo.

Couple of minor changes and some paint and a little bit of a different look..

Flares look nice. Did you use the Krylon Fusion?

No, Home Depot only had a rustoleum product that was made for plastic, and no Krylon. I like the fusion paints, I've used them before, but I also like rustoleum too and didn't have any worries trying it......if they would have had any other brand, I would have gone somewhere else to keep looking for Krylon.

Now you're all set if you decide to throw on some rocker guards.

Those are nice but I have a 4'11.75" wife, I constantly remind her that 5' she aint, so the steps have to stay. Also around here the sand doesn't ever get up to the rockers, even with stock tires, so for me its just for looks..

Did you paint those on or off the Jeep?
