Simple Tire Question. 35x12.50 without any mods?

I currently run 31X10.5X15's on my stock TJ with no mods. Can I put 35x12.50x15 on her without any mods?

Thanks!!

Well you could but it would require lots of trimming, and more than likely removal of most of the front fender and a lot of trimming in the rear. So if you want to cut your jeep up then yes, but otherwise no. The people that do run 35s with no lift run after market fenders front and rear.

If he could get them to fit, hed need to cut stuff like crazy, not be able to turn (at all?), and have difficulty steering/stopping/accelerating.

You think stopping/steering would be fine? The tires are quite a bit heavier than 31s. Of course, I dont have experience with that large of a tire...

yes. i know for a fact it would be fine. the only real problem would be his gearing. but it would suck but it would still be driveable.
