So I went out with a couple of the local Jeep Clubs this weekend to a private ranch called Stillwater Ranch up by Llano, Tx.
The exhaust wasn't too loud or annoying on the 2hr drive up. The weather was great and so was the wheeling. It was my first real chance to try out the new tires, skid and driveshaft. They all performed great. I was able to do just about anything I tried. The ranch has a bunch of loose dirt on most of the obstacles so that made things harder than they should have been. The only casualty is my front license plate.
My only complaint was the gearing, time to upgrade to some Yukon 4.88 gears. front and rear. I already picked up some gears for the front on Craigslist new for 90 bucks.
I'm also going to be throwing in a Detroit Locker in the rear.
The new steering will have to wait.
Now for some pics:
