Silver Surfer Build
I've owned my Rubicon for a little over a year now and thought I would start a progress/build thread
I bought the jeep from Carmax with a little less than 9000 miles on it 2006 Rubicon On the first wheeling trip bone stock. Except for the neoprene seat covers my mom bought me before I even owned the jeep (I still really like them) ![]() ![]() notice the temp tag ![]() ![]() My first real mod was an AtoZ Fab front bumper and some KC lights Then I decided to get an LoD rear bumper/tire carrier and participate in national topless day ![]() ![]() Some more wheeling pictures ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

i am one of the smallest in our group on 33"s
![]() and thats how she sits right now with a little under 26,000 miles future plans: front and rear diff covers (thanks to my sister and zach) a cb radio a tummy tuck (rokmen) a winch (warn m8000) gas tank skid (rokmen) my friend who used to be a fabricator for james duff is gonna build me a long arm kit that he plans to start selling soon and needs a TJ to prototype on. which means ill need longer shocks and a CV shaft currie HD steering Vanco Big brakes Chromo shafts front and rear hiline set up from rokmen (if it ever comes out...) regear 37"s in the long run that is, reality I probably wont go further than the currie steering until after I graduate college |

I did not realize that you are a loooong *** way away from home. if you ever find yourself 2 hours north in Lexington KY, let us drink.
and thank you sir, it was an unfortunate loss. my sports allegiance is split with another University though... I think i will hide in a dark room the day they play each other. ![]() how do you like your anti-rock? ive been considering either it or an ORO Sway-loc Last edited by spyder6; 12-03-2008 at 02:39 PM.. |

I love the antirock
on the road it handles great and i feel way more stable on the trail, when I see other people get tippy and scared I feel perfectly stable, I would recommend it to anyone. it was one of the better ways to spend 300 dollars, I thought about the ORO sway-loc but just couldn't justify the expense. the only down side is i tend to lift tires a little bit sooner than when I ran disconnected. I lost roughly 1 inch of down travel |

can you tell any difference with on road performance? ive read that the Anti-Rock has a lighter resistance than the factory swaybar. That is the one thing i liked about the ORO is that it has a stiffer on road sway bar.
