Shrockworks Sliders

Alright so I am getting a set of Shrockworks for Christmas and was just wondering if I should get them painted or just paint them myself and save the 60 bucks. And also are the Shrockworks the way I should go? I've heard good things but are there any out there that are better? Thanks guys!

AtoZ all the way! Man I have been recommending AtoZ a couple times today. Zach is awesome to deal with and get them unpainted and paint them your self.

Yea that was the other I was considering, are there any pros and cons to the both? I couldn't really see much difference between them.

I was orignially planning on the schrockworks but after winning my AtoZ guards, I'm glad I got those! Beefy, and great quality.

I haven't gotten them mounted just yet, but here are some pics. I'm waiting for some better weather to mount them up. But I already like them.

One more thing. Last I heard, Shrockworks is on like a 4 week turn around with their sliders. AtoZ I think is a week turn around. That and they are 100 dollars cheaper than the Shrockworks.

I go the shrockworks and they're great. Pretty much the same as all the other good sliders out there. I bought them powdercoated and it's still holding up nicely.

Price and options for AtoZ. They start at a little over $200, and depending on what you add, can be as expensive or cheaper than the shrockworks.

EDIT: Plus zach is a member of the board. What does that say? He's involved in the community at least. He's no stranger, and is a nice guy to work with. A good business and a good guy.

Have them very well built, great welds, I got the PC, nothing will stop scrapes scratches on bottom and sides, but the PC is top notch. Paint will not hold up when stepping all over them. After a trip I touch up scratches with semi gloss black, blends pretty good with the PC.

Yea idk I was just thinking that at like 50$ for PC it would almost be worth it just to paint them myself and touch them up a bit more frequently, idk I'll probably just splurge for christmas haha.

I have had my shrockworks sliders for two years...

The powercoat holds up great. I always stand on my rails and they see lots of usage. Of course rocks have scraped the underside, but I haven't had anything with a better paint.

paint / primer will cost you $15, so not much more incrementally.

I have the Shrockworks and love them. I painted mine. If I had to do it again,
I would get them painted from the factory.Doing it yourself right requires sanding, priming and several finish coats, all of which I did. Not hard to do, just time consuming. I,m sure A-Z sliders are just as good.
