Should I change my Transmission Fluid

I have a 2001 4.0 Sahara Automatic Transmission and was wondering if I should change the transmission fluid and filter. It has 45,000 miles on it and im pretty sure its never been changed. If so please tell me how to go about this and on my differential what kind of gear oil do I need to get

I'd definitely change it if it hasn't been changed in 45k... I just had mine rebuilt and wish the guy who owned it before me had taken better care.

As far as how to do that, if you don't have your heart set on doing it youself I'd say it's much easier not to. If there's a Cottman in your area they'll do it for $30 with a coupon that's on their website (www.cottman.com). I'm sure people will jump on me for getting someone else to do it, but hey... I suck.
