Should I buy this TJ sport with this much rust.

Friend owned,
127k mi
daily driver
97 Jeep wrangler TJ
6cyl
frame is rotted in rear and body mounts are junk on tub
she only wants 400 bucks for it.
runs and drives good
has working soft top
and full doors
Opinions?

but for 400 bucks you could afford to replace the frame

or part it out

I really dont need parts, because I drive an XJ.
I was thinking of finding another frame for it... long project

part it out.. full doors are expensive.

'00 TJ, 4.0, nv3550 spd, E-lockers Front and Rear, 4.88 gears. Homebuilt Bumpers/ tube doors.. Homebuilt Long Arm in the making... 35 inch MT-R's ordered

BUY IT!!!!! AND THEN BUY ANOTHER ONE IN BETTER SHAPE. I wish I could find a deal like that around here. Parts jeep would be sweet. I would pull the motor and rebuild it to replace my 1999 2.5 and the transmission as well. along with all the other do dads that I always break.

$400 buy it man. Like everyone is saying you could sell the doors alone and make well more then you paid for it. look online at junk yards or craigslist you could probably find a frame for around $100
